From day one, Simon had a passion for building things.
At just 14, he started a clothing business, then a printing company at 17, and at 31 he co-founded Ko-fi, one of the world’s original creator economy platforms.
But being the co-founder of such a successful company has its drawbacks. Simon had struggled to distinguish his personal brand from the company's brand. A distinction that would be necessary if he was to ever achieve his long-term goals of advising young people on their career paths.
So, to gain access to the networking opportunities and clarity that would only be possible through a distinct personal brand, Simon reached out to Founder Story for help.
Founder Story made the experience enjoyable and energising. For a very reasonably investment (money and time) I now have a great foundation to build on with a strong personal brand, high quality photography and microsite.

Personal Story
In a short narrative we communicated Simon’s story, from his background to where he is today. This involved us adopting his TOV and personality to ensure we told his story authentically. This gives Simon the foundational narrative for him to use in his communications - about page, elevator pitch, biographies and more.
Brand & Lifestyle photography
Ever since moving to Cambridge, Simon had become a regular in the local coffee shops. We took a Cambridge tour photowalk to capture his background and love of coffee.
Personal visual identity
We designed Simon's personal brand identity which included a custom logo, colour palette and typography style, all presented in a brand guideline document for future use. As standard we produce 2-3 concepts before homing in on the preferred concept together.
Personal brand website
We created a personal website for Simon, along with consistent branding and imagery from our shoots together. As Simon was an avid Notion user, we helped build a website based on the Super.so platform to make it easier for him to blog.
